60th House District, Rep. Jon Hoadley

60TH HOUSE DISTRICT (A portion of Kalamazoo County)

Current representative: The current representative for the 60th District is Rep. Jon Hoadley (D-Kalamazoo). The district includes Kalamazoo and portions of the city of Portage and Kalamazoo Township, according to House Democrats. According to his official website, Hoadley is a small business owner and serves as president and owner of Badlands Strategies, "a progressive public affairs firm."

He was first elected in 2014. He is now vice chair of the House Appropriations Committee. He launched a campaign for the U.S. House in 2019.
