Current representative: The current representative for the 11th District is Rep. Jewell Jones (D-Inkster). The district covers a portion of Wayne County, including a portion of Dearborn Heights, Garden City, Inkster, a portion of Livonia and a portion of Westland. Jones was elected to the Michigan House in 2016, taking office in 2017. According to his official House biography, Jones was a member of the Inkster City Council, of the Inkster Task Force, of the Inkster Youth Coalition and of the Inkster Chamber of Commerce.
