Attorney General Bill Schuette

About: Bill Schuette is Michigan's attorney general. He is in his second and final term in the position. According to his official biography, Schuette, a Republican, previously served as a United States congressman, director of the Michigan Department of Agriculture, a Michigan state senator and a judge of the Michigan Court of Appeals. He also served as the 2015-2016 chair of the Republican Attorneys General Association.

Attorney General Schuette raises money through a candidate committee for attorney general, Bill Schuette for Michigan, and a candidate committee for governor, Bill Schuette for Governor, which launched in September 2017.
